Shari Hudson:

Executive Director – Treasurer

Shari Hudson has over 35 combined years of experience in the areas of strategic & operational planning, government contracting services financial management, corporate financial management & non-profit financial management.

Shari is responsible for enhancing internal organizational processes and infrastructure that enables the non-profit to continue with effective production and growth to meet the

overall vision and mission. Shari oversees and monitors all business planning activities pertaining to personnel, finance, new initiatives, and grant award management.  Her accounting and budgeting efforts have contributed to the organization’s high corporate credit rating.

Shari served in the military for 24 years and retired from the United States Army. Her military expertise includes multifunctional logistics, war & domestic disaster planning where she ultimately contributed to the analysis and writings of the logistical war plan that was executed during the Gulf War. At the end of her successful military career on 1 April 2004, Shari continued to assist with building operational capacity in private organizations. She earned a BA degree in Cultural Anthropology from Herbert H. Lehman College (CUNY) and received her commission as an Army Officer from Fordham University, Bronx, NY. Shari also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Business Management from Webster University.
